Hello, I’m Nigel, the Chief Sawdust Maker @ NGB Wood Designs.
I’m a self taught hobby wood worker and I have been making, designing and creating Cutting, Chopping, Serving and Charcuterie boards for friends and family for quite a few years now. (more than I care to remember). I want to take my passion for making boards to the next level and start a small part time business to do so, NGB Wood Designs was set up in 2020 and I work from my small home garage workshop in Farnborough.

My Creations...

All my boards are handcrafted and made from hard woods such as Maple, Walnut, Purple Heart, Ash, Beech, Zebrano and Olive Wood, all from sustainable timber sourced from approved suppliers. They are all made individually so everyone is a one-off piece.
The boards are treated with 2 coats of Food grade Mineral oil and a coat of my “Board Butter” which is a blend of Food grade Mineral oil and Food grade natural Bee’s wax
