Ten years ago I began upcycling furniture. While working full time in a challenging job, it was great therapy and incredibly relaxing to take an old table and make it look beautiful. When retirement coincided with lockdown, and as furniture was in short supply, I decided to make rag wreaths for family and friends at Christmas. I loved the process and found great joy in creating the designs. Fast forward a few months, and I'm now selling furniture alongside wreaths and other flower arrangements.

My Creations...

I experiment with different themes - eg a 'ladybird' wreath, red with black spots...a yellow and black 'bumblebee' wreath, with a bee 'flower'. In Summer, wreaths inspired by sweet peas, or Autumn, with fabulous creams, browns and golds. With a polystyrene base or metal frame, material and other embellishments produce fabulous and original designs. The wreaths can be used as door/wall hangings for any room in your home. They make gorgeous gifts, too, and can be made to order. Fab for weddings!
